Bournemouth Menswear Winter '12.

A preliminary article for a local rag in Bournemouth Town.
With Christmas & the New Year behind us it's back to work and this Winter's key trends remain full of colour with a touch of the "Traditional - Preppy" feel about them & plenty of opportunity to add touches which will add to your individual style & set you apart from others in the office. Where casual wear is concerned we're seeing a huge resurgence wirh local retailers stocking classic favourites which will continue to look the part on the terraces for many a season to come.

Memories of the brands which dominated the 90's "Chipie" & "Naf Naf" and their body warmers have come back with a vengence. Richmond Classics stock the Down Chevignon K-Togs Unlimited Puffa Jacket. With lamb leather shoulder pads , a great investment & also with detachable sleeves make this a versatile piece which could be worn well into Spring & even into some chilly Summer evenings. £424.99

Richmond Classics is also where you'll find the Iconic British  Made - Brutus Trimfit shirts. No other shirts offer the perfect "roll" on the collar as these do. One of the best seasonal additions you could add to your wardrobe this year. You can even carry on the festive spirit with the Christmas Heritage Tartan Shirt. £54.99 If  you want to go with the Mod look, keep the top button done up at all times.

Coloured trousers are a plenty on the high Street, in both Zara & H&M, choose between corduory or denim.  Chinos are flavour of the month also & these Stright Leg 100% cotton ones from H&M. £19.99

On the work front, most of us have at least one dark suit. If you're looking for another to add to your wardrobe, we'd reccommend a well cut Grey one to start the New Year off with. Austin Reed have their signature Charcoal Prince Of Wales 3 Piece. £349.00 Keep the breast pocket dressed with  a handkerchief, think deep reds, oranges or polka dot & you'll be sure to cut a dash around town!
